Winterizations

Some of our clients request that their property be shut down and preserved. When we do this we ensure all the water has been removed from all the plumping within the house. We drain the water heater and remove as much of the sediments as we can. We do this by pressurizing the lines between 35 and 45 PSI. This allows us to find leaks within the visible plumbing and either repair or cap them. We clean all toilets and tanks and add anti-freeze to all traps to prevent damage from freezing. Each wet area receives a sticker that shows who winterized, when it was winterized, and if there was any damage associated with the area. If you want to discourage people from using the toilets after it has been winterized, we stock toilet wraps with ventilation so no mold grows.
